Power in the Land is a collaborative project based around the Nuclear power station in Anglesey close to where I live. Its shut down on 30th December 2015 marks the end of nuclear power in Wales, at least until the next one gets built in 10 or 20 years time.
A dynamic group of artists, Welsh and English have created a touring exhibition for 2016 /17. Themes include the impact on the land, the legacy for the future and cultural change from the 1960's onwards. The show opened in Oriel Davies, Newtown in January, travelled to Aberystwyth arts Centre in April and will be seen next in Cardiff. There are plans to develop the project in England.

Power in the Land opens next at BayArt, Cardiff, 17th Feb.2017
